The Action Committee for Tourism (ACT) is an all volunteer group that plans and executes events to promote tourism in the city of Ocean Shores, Washington. Our website will tell you about upcoming ACT events and how you can take part in them as a spectator, participant, vendor, or volunteer.

Ocean Shores Antique & Collectible Show
Over 80 Booths of Antiques & Vintage Collectibles
Date: Feb 13-14, 2010
Place: Ocean Shores Convention Center

Our 8th Annual Show at the Ocean Shores Convention Center. Over eighty booths offer a wide variety of antiques including dolls, glass, furniture, American Art pottery, and much, much more. For a small donation to local charities and nonprofits, you can have your treasures evaluated. Last year's event raised $6,217.32 for the North Beach Senior Center and the Parks & Recreation Summer Youth Program. Hourly Door Prizes. ....(more)

    It's a Valentine's Day weekend. Over eighty vendors will offer a wide variety of antiques including dolls, glass, furniture, American Art pottery, and much, much more.. Evaluators, crystal and glass repair, and hourly door prizes. Admission is a $2 donation to local charities & nonprofits..... (more)

  • Flag Day Parade & Dance
    June 12, 2010
    Convention Center

    A chance to show our patriotic spirit. The parade features more than fifty entries and a Grand Marshall. One of the only Flag Day parades in Western Washington. End the day with dining and dancing from 6pm until midnight at the Ocean Shores Shilo Inn.

    Sand & Sawdust Festival

    June 25-27, 2010
    Convention Center & Beach

    Teams of master sand sculptors, amateurs, and families compete on the beach. Professional & Semi-professional chainsaw carvers compete at the Convention Center. Free sand sculpting lessons on Friday.

    North Bay Park

    Celebrate our Nation's Independence Day with a community-sponsored picnic on the 3rd.

    September 18-19, 2010
    North Bay Park, lakes & canals

    Attention kayak, canoe, and rowing enthusiasts. Human-powered boat activities on the lakes and canals of Ocean Shores. Human Powered Boat Race, Poker Paddle, Cardboard Boat Race, picnic, seminars and the latest in paddling gear at end-of-season prices.....(See Details)
